Global Majority/BPOC Network Launch + Shelter Building
Join us at Earthseed Community Garden for the launch of the BPOC / Global Majority Network and Earthseed’s shelter build kick off!

The WFFGN has begun work to bring together racialised growers in Waltham Forest, to provide mutual support and solidarity, to connect new and seasoned gardeners, and to promote cultural foods, seeds, and stories in gardens across our borough.
In this first event, we will present our work so far and hold a discussion circle to think about where to go next. We will share a meal, then help out with Earthseeds' new shelter build project!
A vegan lunch will be provided! All ages welcome, and you can come for all or part of the day with no pressure.

These workshops are held at Bateman Road Allotments which can be reached by navigating via maps to E4 8YJ, the entrance to the allotment is opposite the Burnside School
There will be more workshops advertised between now and Spring 2027, so watch this space.
These workshops are organised in partnership with OrganicLea, the Waltham Forest Food Growers Network and the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is funded by the Mayor of London Green Roots Fund.
Harvest Fair - 11th October - Save the Date!
Don’t miss our annual celebration of growing, harvest, and all the hard work put in to produce local, organic food in Waltham Forest!
This will be a coming together of the community, with space for discussion, dance and delicious food.
We will host a best in show competition, judging the biggest, longest and wonkiest fruit and veg of the season. We will also have prizes for the tastiest bakes, the perfect pickle, and the most fabulous ferment.
